A link to Freelance writer, Jill McCullough's article is below. A future Path Medical Release is in the news section of the web site. The article outlines Founder Ty Bryant’s motivation which has been the driving force behind the innovative technology at Future Path which was influenced by his son, Christopher who was left a quadriplegic following a diving accident in 1997. Ty and his son were frustrated with the methods of urine management and monitoring and set out to invent new approaches and technologies to solve these issues affecting millions of patients. Sadly, Christopher died in 2005 from a blood infection resulting from an overflowing urine bag, a problem that might have been avoided with FPM’s innovative technology.
Also covered in the article and in the news section is FPM's recently awarded patent on its core technology which is bringing the company to the forefront in providing a cure for the needs of patients and the improvement of healthcare for Quadriplegics who are Spinal Cord Injured and experience incontinency in the U.S. and also internationally.
